What an exceptional few days. Set in the wild beauty of Pembrokeshire, overlooking the tidal estuary in the magical village of Lawrenny, The Big Retreat was a festival unlike any other, a place where energy, nature, and human connection merged effortlessly. It felt completely aligned with the Peachaus spirit.
We were given a perfect woodland spot and set up a Peachaus pop-up inside a gorgeous Tea & Toast Glamping structure, with our pyjamas and underwear gently dancing in the breeze. It was free, light, and utterly magical from the moment we arrived.
Creating our beautiful Peachaus space was effortless in the May sunshine and soon we had once again created another activation of the brand, this time in the gorgeous Welsh outdoors.

Over the course of the weekend we fitted over 200 women. Once again, we saw just how many women are living in daily discomfort, in bras that don’t fit, with little awareness of breast health, and no time or space to prioritise themselves. Nearly every woman who tried on a Peachaus bra bought one. That says everything. We’re here to change the bra fitting experience — to bring it to women, wherever they are, in a way that makes them feel seen, safe, and supported.

We had so many memorable experiences and connections with women but a moment I’ll never forget: Nikki. She’d been through breast cancer, ovarian cancer then breast cancer once again with a full reconstruction on both sides. She had always promised herself that when she had finished all her treatment and reconstruction she would have a bra fit. She was emotional, open, and ready. I was lucky enough to do her first fitting; she showed me her scars, her tattooed nipples, and told me about the decisions she made for her reconstructed breasts, choosing softness, for the texture and feel. Her strength, her beauty, her courage, I will always remember her.

And then, joyfully, Darren Gough, the husband of breathwork practitioner friend Anna, popped in while she was teaching a session. He fell in love with our Indigo Stripe Lomandra Short and Yew Shirt. So much so that he took a pair away with him to wear that night. When we checked in on his experience the next day he was raving about how comfortable everything was (and yes — everything stayed in place!). It was the start of our realisation that Peachaus isn’t just for women — our pieces are flowing effortlessly into unisex territory.

One magical encounter after another. We met @HannahLanel, a long-time Peachaus wearer we bumped into each other at the bar and she shared just how much our pyjamas have become part of her everyday life, I couldn't have felt happier!
We also met some incredibly inspiring women shaping change in their own fields:
Francesca James, founder of Ideas Fest
Emma Sayle, founder of Killing Kittens and The Sistrhood Group
alongside Frankie James of Ideas Fest
August Bernstein the Head garden designer at Le Manoir and Raymond Blanc Garden school.
Gemma Longworth Author of ‘Craft your cure’.
Kate Roweham - longtime friend of Peachaus, of Owning your Menopause
Amber Lort Phillips founder of The Big Retreat herself whose vision it is to create this incredible festival
Tonia Buxton Tv Presenter and Consultant chef and Author
And then there was Ruby Wax. Warm, witty, open. She came for a fitting an left with three bras, not just one “they’re just so comfortable,” she said. That alone made our weekend.
It was life-changing on so many fronts!
This festival brought us closer not just to the women we serve, but to a growing group of extraordinary women who believe in and support what we’re doing. We’re building something bigger than a brand; we’re building a movement. And we’re so grateful to have shared that with everyone at The Big Retreat.
So once again, Peachaus brought human connection, knowledge, comfort, and beauty into the world.
We built our conscious, connected community.
We learned. We experienced. We shared stories.
People kept asking where we're based. The answer is simple:
We’re based wherever we’re needed.
A big thank you to the other founder led brands that also contributed to our 'better nights sleep' gift box:
